Matthew 17:1-20, Mark 9:1-13, Luke 9:28-36 THE TRANSFIGURATION-------------- I have always been fascinated by the wonder and the mystery of the Transfiguration. Every one knows the bible is full of the miraculous, and perhaps to you, the reader, this event is just another amazing biblical occurrence.
Something unexplainable happens to me when I try to absorb and reflect on what is behind the letter on the page. I awoke from sleep and sat on the edge of my bed. There was an unusual light from another room, distinctly shining on a wall in my bedroom. There appeared to be a large, deep open window, with a very detailed intricate lattice work around the edge. The window had great depth, almost dimensional, and it seemed as though the window was the entrance to another dimension .
As I peered closely, trying to focus, I could see stars reaching into space, outside through this open window. The light reflected specifically on the window, causing it to have a mirror affect, except it continued beyond the wall that usually holds pictures of my daughter. It was there for a moment, long enough for me to look, turn to see the light reflecting it, and glance one more time at something I could not explain.
Romans 2:7 tells us to seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. We relate to glory and honor, but immortality goes beyond our comprehension. If we are suppose to wait untill we die to see immortality, then why would it tell us to seek for it. 2 Timothy 1:10 "But is NOW made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel".
I read the Transfiguration and decided to write about it on Gayle's Column. After a couple of hours of study, I went to the computer to begin, and our computer was down. I concluded there was a reason, or spiritual significance.
A couple of days later, I was in the pool lying on a raft. I could feel the warmth of the sun, and the birds were singing. I had my eyes closed, and time seemed to fade, I saw three people standing, but more important, I felt their presence. One stood in front of me, while the others stood on each side. Their clothing was a translucent white, as bright as the sun, the brightness could only be compared to a memory, of snow covered banks where the sun magnified itself in brightness as it reflected the snow, causing the white to glisten. Their faces were as the sun shining with all its strength. They were quiet and stood without moving, and I could feel the heat from the sun that seem to come from them.
I surmise, I had fallen asleep, however, it did not feel like sleep, and I have no memory of waking. Never before, had I seen anything like this, or dreamed anything so real. I could feel this dream, or this experience, and it was beyond my carnal understanding. I began to ponder exactly what I beheld and try to make sense of it. I concluded that whether I dreamed or encountered this, either way, it was a spiritual experience.
God is Spirit, and when we experience him, it will be in spirit. I personally believe when we sleep, our spirit, or subconscious mind is awake and our dreams are significant, although we may not always remember them. I believe this was a spiritual visitation and God's glory filled this temple.
The Transfiguration was a prophecy that had to be fulfilled, Moses represented the law, and Elijah, the prophet. Jesus came to fulfil his purpose, and in the old testament, Moses, was given the law, a type and shadow of good things to come.
The law, or statutes was an enactment or appointment of time, and of necessary ordinances to show us we could not live within these statutes. Moses, himself did not enter the promise land, because he represented the law and no one could keep the law.
God spoke through prophets, and Elijah was sent before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the lord: He came to turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers. He was the prophet who called down fire. John the Baptist had the spirit of Elijah, who cried in the wilderness for the people to repent and prepare the way of the Kingdom within. Moses, whose name means "drawn out of water" and Elijah, meaning "my God is Jehovah" appeared with Jesus.
The story that follows this event is Matthew 17:15-and it speaks of the boy who was a lunatic, and the word lunar comes from the moon . It deals with people who stay in an emotional realm. The word means moon-struck, crazy, insane, or vexed, meaning to keep returning to something.
The scripture says he fell into the fire and he fell into the water. When Jesus speaks to the boy, he says "O faithless and perverse generation". The disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out this devil? The boy represented a type and shadow of what Moses and Elijah had produced within the law. They represented a continual cleansing of fire and water, forever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The cleansing dealt with the outer man and Jesus had come to write the law on the heart of mankind.
Three is the number for completion, and Jesus, stood with both Moses and Elijah completing all they represented until now. Jesus was the promise, that man had been searching for, and had only seen a glimpse through these prophets. He was the truth. He, who the son makes free, is free indeed. Both of these prophets had fulfilled their purpose, and Jesus represented that type and shadow in its full and complete state.
Before the Transfiguration, Jesus said there would be some that stood there who would not taste of death untill they saw the kingdom of God come with power. Those who witnessed this event, immediately went to their carnal thoughts and suggested building three tabernacles to Moses, Elijah, and Jesus.
They had witnessed the miracle of the kingdom within and still turned outside to religion. One of the gospels describes that while Jesus was praying, his countenance was altered, his raiment white and glistering.
Those who appeared, spoke of his decease, which he should accomplish. We too, walk in an ordination, or purpose to be fulfilled. Jesus would soon face his hour, for he said "mine hour has come", where he would taste of death. He would become the sacrifice for sin, who knew no sin to reconcile all of the world back to their former state.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be transformed.
Jesus was transformed at the Trasfiguration, before he tasted death. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. If you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. We are to be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing, renovation, or extermination of our mind, to prove the acceptable, perfect will of God.
Our former state was the mind of Christ. Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Hast thou seen the treasures of the hail? Its a NEW DAY, and He said BEHOLD, I DO A NEW THING!
The judgment that makes right all that is wrong, that began in the house of the Lord, which we are, has gone out from the house to the house. I had never encountered a spiritual experience untill I literally saw the hail and spiritually entered into the treasures of the snow.
The transformation is accomplished by a new mind set. A new mind set will produce new thoughts, and most important, new words, and our speech will create those things that are not as though they are.
The inward man is renewed day by day. Our countenance is being changed, transformed, a metamorphosis is taking place. This transformation is resulting in our character, appearance, and our condition. There is a physical transformation to behold as Jesus, the head of this body revealed, when his countenance was altered.
He took Peter, James, and John up into a high mountain. They beheld with their natural eyes, the glorious transformation of Jesus. A cloud of witnesses appeared testifying that this was God's beloved Son, in whom he was well pleased, hear ye him. The disciples heard, fell on their face and were afraid. This happened to Jesus in the time that he was in flesh, When they appoached this high mountain, there were four of them, two appeared with Jesus in the transfiguration, and where did the cloud of witnesses come from?
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall we also appear with him in glory. It was Jesus, who entered the high place, but Christ who was transformed. As we present ourselves as a living sacrifice, complete and perfected, it is the Sun of righteousness that will arise with healing in his wings.
The word ordination comes to mind, and we see a time in which this occurs, however, if we have already concluded we are dead, and our life is hid, with Christ in God, we no longer walk in the law realm. We are subject to the element of time while in the realm of law, however the glory of the law is a fading glory.
When the word states to reckon our selves dead, the word reckon means to make a ledger, meaning a place to journal, or record all of our accounts. To reckon, means to make right or to put something in order. A ledger is a flat stone placed over a tomb.
My husband said to me when we were dating, more than four years ago, that God told him to set the record straight. I'm convinced, that until we are determined in our thinking that we died, we will forever be learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We must see a finished work! God is spirit, and we were with him before the foundation of the world. The word was made flesh and dwelt among us. We behold and become! I submit to you that an understanding that we died with him will result in the kind of immortality he walked in when more than 500 people were seen who were raised from the dead.
Old mind sets have created a someday mentality and some are tuning in to what it was Jesus really came to do. Some are understanding we were made to sit in heavenly places and they have awakened to the structure of the sentence being past tense. WE WERE MADE TO SIT IN HEAVEN, not someday we are going to sit in heaven.
My husband would say," hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow", and I did not have my own understanding. I was surprised to find the meaning of treasure in the Hebrew Concordance, to be depository, storehouse, and armoury. These are entrusted places where things are kept for safekeeping. Our mind is a storehouse of resources, where we have the power to receive and hold knowledge, and the mind controls the body. We have not even begun to absorb the capabilities of the mind.
Everyone, according to ordination, will enter, being enlightened by the word of the Lord, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, and there a little. We find ourselves in the word and actually walk it out from the fading glory of the law to the everlasting shekinah glory. We are enlightened with new revelation as we enter the storehouse, the mind of Christ, we begin to remember who we are, and that we have the mind of Christ. So many are waiting for that great day of reckoning!
Remember, reckon means to make a ledger, a flat stone on a tomb. A day of reckoning is whats needed. If we died with him and he was resurrected, and the dead were seen alive, then we too are resurrected. 1Cor 15:42-49 speaks of the resurrection of the dead, sown in corruption, raised in incorruption. The natural body is sown and the spiritual body raised. The first man is of the earth, the second man is the Lord from heaven. We being borne the image of the earthy, shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Romans 6 tells us the body that died is not our immortal body but the old man. 2Cor 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old is passed away, the all becomes new."
When we remember who we are in Christ, it is the mind that will renew and we will acknowledge the old passed away. We have been double minded in our thinking and believed we still live in the body of the old man, while we have our resurrected, immortal body in heaven.
We have already established we were made to sit in heavenly places. It is our speech that sets the course of an understanding of immortality. Knowing who we are in Christ and that we were with him from the beginning, will unfold a memory of the word being the creative force. It is the tongue, that creates life and death. Creation began with a word and James 3:6 tells us the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: it defiles the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature. I beseech you, to unlock the treasured storehouse that has been veiled by a ghostly ledger, and dare to remember ...

I often quote "I fought the law and the law won!"
Experience is the best teacher in our lives however, learning this way may be painful. We often think in retrospect we would like to be able to go back and do it all over again. We all have considered karma almost as though it "could happen," and next time maybe we will do it different.
Some people hold fast to doctrines and claim they believe every word the bible says. The bible says "In all the earth, there will be seed, time............................................................................, and harvest".
I always thought that meant there would al- ways be plenty of food in the earth. I think different after cause and affect took place in my life.
One way to see this, is God formed Adam from earth, and our flesh experiences actually walk out seed, time, and harvest. I believe we find our- selves in Christ(John17:21"That they all may be one;as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be- one in us".)
I recall doing something in my life that I actually thought was a right thing to do at the time, and 14 years- later it came back to me.
It was the most painful situation I have ever had to go through and it caused me to change the way I live. I began to look inside of myself and by doing so, I was able to see many other situations that were a harvest I myself had planted.
The strange thing about talking about this, is people see harvest in other people, but not in themselves. (Gal.6:7 "Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.") I think this is one of the most important messages I could ever teach.
If a person means to bring pain to another, he brings pain to himself. How many people would knowingly do this? As I share this with those I truly love and want to see have a good life, they don't really hear what I am saying. There are those who have actually said this is not true because the bible says when you ask Jesus for forgiveness, he forgives and what ever you did is cast into the sea, and Jesus promises to never remember it again.
Jesus does'nt remember the transgression because he became sin, who knew no sin, that we might become the righteousness of God. Jesus also said that which is born of flesh is flesh and that born of spirit is spirit.
Jesus said "It is finished,"completing his purpose on earth. Although we know it is finished, we do walk it out. The bible says we judge ourselves and the judgement that comes to us, is that we have planted. We have been taught to look outside. Many look for spiritual happenings in other countries and in current events.
Although all of this is pertinent to our being open in spirit to what God is doing in our earth, the question is, what is God doing in us individually?
The day of the Lord was a great and mighty day in my life. The day my harvest returned was judgement day for me. God's grace was sufficient and it was his divine influence upon my heart causing me to come to a turning point in my life.
Understanding types and shadows in our lives will manifest spiritual growth. I look back at law and have understandinng as to why I had to walk out my harvest the way I did. I only knew of one gospel and although gospel translates to good news, I could not see anything good through the condemnation and guilt that came with the gospel of law.
There is another gospel and it is so good. I have become a new creation, the old passed away, the all became new. Praise God For His Glorious Truth I have been made free, for who the son makes free is free indeed..

I think about Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist and wonder about the things that were not said. Zacharias was a priest and he was obedient to the commandments and God found him righteous. His wife Elisabeth had never conceived and in John's old age an angel told him, his wife would have a child. Zacharias was made dumb because he did not believe Gabriel, the angel. There has been much said concerning Zacharias not being able to speak. We understand if he had been able to talk he would have undone what Gabriel said. The angel said they would call him John, and he would prepare the people for the day of the Lord. Zacharias was probably thinking John would be Zach Jr. because he would be handing down his priestly garments as tradition had always done.John the Baptist had a ordination on his life and the people of that day had never seen such a man as this.I can not even imagine all the things people might have said about John the Baptist in that day. The bible says"they speak evil of things they don't understand". John wore a coat of camels hair and he was a wilderness preacher who ate locusts and wild honey. He never drank wine or strong drink and did not appear to be a part of the temple worship. Its my guess he stood out like a sore thumb. There was probably gossip all around town and his parents most likely shared his reproach. Zacharias probably asked him "what in the world are you doing?""Do you not know who we are in this town?" " If only I had named him Zach Jr. instead of what the angel told me to name him." There must have been so much more, "Why would you baptize people in the river when we have worshiped in the temple for as long as I can remember." "John, you are an embarrassment to this family, why can't you be like the rest of us, why are you always trying to be different?" "You are saying things we have never heard before, people are talking and your mother and I think you are in some kind of occult." John, you are our only son and we had planned to leave our inheritance to you, however, if you are going to continue preaching that false religion we will have to take you out of the will." To make matters worst, "last we heard he was not only preaching false doctrine, he was actually coming against the religious system, calling them children of snakes, and provoking King Herod". John was called to prepare the way for Jesus. The religious system entangled him because he exposed the leaders of that day. Without compromise, John preached it was not lawful for Herod to have his brother's wife. John was imprisoned, beheaded, and made an example of in the public eye.. The people probably thought he got what he had coming by the time the religious system engaged in the chatter and spoke evil of the things they did not understand. John was a martyr, he was persecuted, tortured, and sacrificed, for a cause greater then they could understand. His hour had come when he was beheaded, for when the scripture says Jesus did not have a place to lay his head, it was John who gave him the place to lay his head. Jesus came to change the order in that day and still religion would have us worship a form of godliness, denying the truth. Today when the son's of God proclaim "Christ in all, the hope of glory, His mercey endures forever, All will be reconciled," religious people begin to chatter. Mat21:37,38,39- But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying," They will reverence my son", But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, "this is the heir, come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance." And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. Religion has pointed outwardly warning people not to be deceived for years. The catholic church taught people not to study for themselves with the attitude that only the priest could discern what the bible was saying. Religion branched off the catholic church as reformers began to have revelation seeing beyond the normal. Every time this happened they suffered persecution and dealt with religious attitudes that would fight anything new. I myself have seen the attitude I speak of and it goes beyond a difference of opinion in beliefs. Religion has taught if you do not worship as with the same opinion, those of that opinion judge you. The religious conclude their opinion can not be disputed based on teachings handed down from generations. I find it astounding some can be so close minded, however, I was one of these religious, close minded people. I worshiped God in a church and thought my way was the right way. I do not want to make this my personal story but in my earnest search I came to the conclusion God was inside of all mankind. Religious people scrutinize and manipulate using fear based doctrine to keep people from knowing a truth that sets mankind free. I conclude the reason truth is hidden is because the strength of religion is financed by those who accept other people's opinions because they are too lazy to study the bible for themseves and because they fear a hell they have never understood. I love God and seek him everyday. I long to see others know him in all of his glory and I understand religion (law) veils or conceals understanding. There is an ordained time to come out from among them, to worship in spirit and truth and to accept people where they are. God loves all of his creation and he purposed Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world to die for all. There are no righteous acts we add to what Jesus did because he was enough. Thank you for reading this article and for your visit to our site. If there is anything we can do to share the Christ with you or help in any way , please log in and someone will get back to you . A thought that comes to mind today, is with all of the knowledge, the modern technology, and the growth that we have witnessed in our generation, I find it hard to believe that religion has stunted people and kept them from growing. We seem to have come so far in the secular world in comparison to the growth of the church. Perhaps God himself caused this in the understanding of man. I read the bible in a year and for the most part turned to the history I was taught to decide what the bible was saying. As I began teaching a class, I started to study and look up the meanings of words. Actually, someone recommended a book for me to read, knowing I was going to be teaching from Revelation. This was a powerful, eye opening experience. I read the book and compared it to another well known preacher/writer, and concluded they must have used the same notes to have reached their conclusion on what the scripture was saying. It was truly the holy spirit who began teaching me. When I was in school I never liked to study and really never learned how to study. All of a sudden, I could not get enough. It is still that way, although the cares of life keep me busy, I love to study God's word. I find , knowing how much God loves all of us ,makes me want to find out everything he wants me to know. I read Christ in you, the hope of glory, and missed where he was. I saw the mystery part and assumed it was some day, as so many do. He loves us so much that he wants us to know his secrets and the mysterys we have missed through the ages. I have found there is a secret place in him that words can not even began to express. He is our teacher and this place I speak of is real. He reveals himself to those who long to know him. And it is him, who opens his arms wide to embrace all of his children. One touch from the Master and you will never be the same. He will be found when you search for him with all your heart. He has reconciled all to himself, and given us the message of reconcilation. It is the goodness of God that brings a man to repentance. God is faithful, his mercy endures forever. This is a NEW DAY, and our God is doing a NEW THING! Rejoice and be glad in him.....

When is the Lord's Day? I would like to make this personal because I have experienced the day of the Lord. You, the reader are the object of my affection because it is truly my desire to see you have an abundant life. I do not want to spend time describing why religion has nothing to do with this day, however most of my life was spent religiously seeking God. I could give my repertoire, as Paul did when he spoke of being on the Sanhedrin Council, but he counted it all false or (dung). I sought God outside myself, and this is what religion does. It has you looking in another direction and it keeps you a prisoner in a church. There is much talk about end times, last days, doomsday, and fear tactics keeping people in bondage. I know because I feared all of these. I absolutely had an experience with God in religion and there was proof. The bible says you will know them by their fruit and there was fruit in my life with the evidence of the fruit of the spirit, which are-(love,joy,peace,temperance,longsuffering,gentleness,faith,goodness,and meekness) I shared my experence with many and saw them experience God through Jesus Christ also. There was so much excitment in finding Jesus and all I can say is the excitment faded. The bible states the law was a fading glory. My relationship became stale and I had to work to maintain it. There were always new clever maneuvers to try to keep up the enthusiasm in the church. I gave up many times and found my way back every time life became difficult. I was always trying to reach that glory that came with my first encounter with Jesus. It was circumstances that brought me to God, and no man comes by any other name then Jesus. This time was different because my life came to a crisis point. He says if you make your bed in hell , he will be there with you. I had done just that, and I was in the darkest place I had ever known. I began to read the bible looking for some kind of hope. It was as though the bible became new, and I had never seen these pages. The words came off the pages and became the answer to my crisis. A crisis is a turning point, and John, in Revelation is on the isle of Patmos(my killing) he is suffering and in a time of tribulation. He says he was in the Spirit on the Lord's day and he heard a voice(as a trumpet) It says he turned. It speaks of the seven golden candlesticks that he saw. It is this end of ourselves we come to, remember my killing was what the name of the isle meant, where John was. The scripture says he turned to hear this voice and saw the light of the candlesticks. Judgement comes to everyone, because it is God making right the wrong in our lives. What we have planted is what brings us to our crisis place. To hear the voice is the beginning of a journey into the promise land that Moses(the law) missed on this side. The light is life that comes after a carnal death that opens the heavens and the mysteries that have been hidden from the ages. The Lord's Day is a day you can look forward to and know it will happen in your life, in your ordination and on this side or on the other. Jesus was the word made flesh and was our pattern. We become the word, a living epistle read of all men. John ,who had been boiled in oil at one time ,and now on that isle ,he was in the Spirit and what they had intended to be his death, had not killed him. When we suffer loss in this Day of the Lord, we are in Spirit and the flesh dies but the Spirit brings life. We no longer look outside for God and fear negative reports for we are turned inside out and the Spirit within frees us to be a manifestation of the Christ on earth. We find ouselves in the word ,and walk it out in Spirit. Love,GAYLE

WHERE DOES JUDGMENT BEGIN?
Have you ever asked the question why me? Perhaps you have thought about why someone was going through crisis, and things just kept happening. They face one obstacle and another is on its way! Judgment came into my life and when I thought it could'nt get any worse, I was wrong. I have seen it come to others and wondered where bottom was, and I have felt like bottom was so far on top of me, it could never be reached. The bible says Judgment begins in the house of the Lord, which we are. If all of us are the house of the Lord, where does judgment begin? John2:19-Jesus tells them, "Destroy this temple, in three days I will raise it up." They assumed he was speaking of the temple that took 40 years to build. 21-Jesus tells them the temple is his body. They remembered this when he rose from the dead on the third day. Marla is my sister and when God awakened her in him the first thing he told her was to rebuild her temple. She would ask God for something in the word and she kept opening the word to REBUILD YOUR TEMPLE! She did not understand, but in time God began to reveal to her what he meant. As she became unveiled, God showed her, as he did me that we had to REBUILD OUR TEMPLE! The scripture in Col.1:27 says To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Suddenly a light enlightened our darkness and we began to see we had idols within. To say we purged ourselves sounds too simple, because there was so much more to it. Scripture refers to Babylon, and this means a confused mixture. Most of us are taught a religion or our ancestors handed down a tradition causing us to believe something. Even if you say you are atheist, that would be a belief. Excuse my eagerness to get to the point but we are all full of something! The way I see it, and this is personal, but if Christ is in us, He needs room to Express Himself. The confused mixture has to go. This is not easy because it is all we THINK we know, or all we remember. There are pictures of Jesus on the walls of your home or perhaps your church. There are idols you have held dear to you that reminded you of God. There are sacred images that have become God to you and these things have come by way of Babylon. He says tear this temple down and in three days I will raise it up again. We are in the Third Day, and those who have heard this message have began to let go of idols. These pictures have been in our mind keeping us from the mind of Christ. Most of us are full of religion and we do not even know it. The walls came down one at a time and with each wall came a breath of relief. I would wake up at 3A.M. every morning and go to another part of the house and pray. I can not begin to express how desperate I was to know God. There were some mornings I would feel his touch to awaken me to prayer. God was so gentle with me because to let go of some of my preconcieved ideas was a huge gesture on my part. I never let go of anything that God did not replace with something more precious. There is so much more to tell about this awesome journey ,but in my spirit I feel I can not say everything yet. I will say, Judgment begins in the house of the Lord, which we are. Those who have began to REBUILD THEIR TEMPLE is where judgment began. Rev.7:1- And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. The wind in this scripture represents God's judgment being held back untill those seeking judgment have allowed it to make right the wrong in their lives. Those who have allowed God to empty them of everything unlike Him, who have sought the very character of God and who have become trustworthy in His eyes. They have been sealed and understand Isaiah1:17-Where it says to Learn to do well, seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Once Judgment makes right, the wrong, in these lives, the angels, or these trustworthy messengers can allow the wind of judgment to blow in the earth. What idols do you hold dear? What do you think Jesus looked like? Could Jesus have been speaking to you when he said tear this------------- temple down...? Getting rid of things always clears our thinking, think about it? Love to you, Gayle

WHATS IN A NAME? Have you ever wondered about how your name came about? Do you explain it as your parent's might explain? Surely God was not interested in our names, or was He? The bible speaks about names and even changes the names of people. Do you think God actually knew what you would be called? God called the man Adam, red, ruddy, rosy. He called the woman Eve,life giver. Joseph's name in the bible means to add, and his first son, Manasseh, means forgetting those things behind. Joseph's brothers sold him because of jealousy, and his name demonstrates this was all in the plan of God. I believe our names are important in God's plan for our life and when the bible tells us to train up a child in the way they should go, I believe God planted certain qualities inside of all of us, to be cultivated. I brought children up with the attitude they were to be trained the way I thought they should go. There is a difference and I learned the hard way. My name means joyful melody or song. There are things in every person's life that happened that have a lasting impression on them. There are things that happened in our lives we don't remember or we payed little attention to as they occured. All of this is significant to who we are in God. Finding out who we are will open our eyes as to why we are here, and God' s divine plan in our life. Understanding issues that have complicated our lives, people who have hurt us, as well as strong holds, that have kept us from becomming God's best. The bible says we were hid with Him before the foundation of the world. Having our veil removed will allow us to see ourselves in God. We will even begin to know we died with Him, and we will actually comprehend walking out our death, burial, and ressurrection , as we find ourselves in the word. There is nothinng more interesting in this life then knowing the revelated word, and our place in the body of Christ. This information is not designated for the life of the person interested in God. This extends to all of creation, in it's own ordination. What is your name, what significant memory lingers within your mind, and how is it you fit into the scheme of creation.

JUDGMENT BRINGS A NEW BEGINNING, I believe I am walking out the word because I have described how judgment came in my life suddenly. I have spoken of my day of the Lord and the turning point in my life. I remember a time of terrible pain because of a loss in my life. This pain brought determination in my life to seek out God. Devastation overwhelmed me and I wanted to die. I was afraid to kill myself, and as time went by, I began to heal by depending on God for every breath. I did everything I was ever taught in religion to find God. I wrote down every thing I thought I had done that was wrong in my life and as I asked God to forgive me, I crossed them out one by one. I am not a young person so considering my age, I had quite a list. I would remember something and write it down so I could add it to my list when I got home, and then ask God to forgive me. As I think about it now, I must have thought what happened in my life was because of unforgiven sins. The day that had come upon me was something I had planted 14 years ago. I knew the moment before I was made aware of my loss. God had brought something to my mind, I had forgotten about, and I had never even lost a minutes sleep or thought it was wrong. Because of the way I remembered this, I believe it has a lot to do with God's call on my life. Reading the bible became an avenue for me to find relief, and one day I was reading Psalm 22, and I found myself in the word. It is strange to say it this way, but I now have an understanding that this spiritual walk happens to me first in my flesh. All that has happened, including my fight with the law and how the law won, reflects this. During this time I saw my home as my refuge, and I spent all of my free time in my bedroom praying and reading the bible. I would write down things in my mind because I thought God was speaking these things to me. I still have all that I wrote, and now I am sure He was. I had to work hard and the work was exhausting, but during this time I saw it as boot camp. I took classes to better myself, and with each new challenge, I rose to the occasion, understanding that God was in everything I was doing. I loved the scripture "All things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose," and I held fast to Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." My relationship became personal, and I longed to lay before God. I would lay on my fur rug and sleep, and give up my comfortable bed waiting on God to hear me. I would pray the scripture, and I would use my hair and pretend I was washing the feet of Jesus. I would dance before Him, and sing the song, "Can I have This Dance." He became the most precious thing in my life and my loss had brought me to this place with God. One of the nights I read Psalms 30:5" For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."I remember crying and feeling as though He held me through the night. Psalm126-:5 says"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." I went to Nursing Homes to visit the elderly and went to almost every church service. I taught a children's class and learned more than they did. I might have been doing works, but it led me to God. I did not know how I would go on but I knew God would be faithful. I spoke if I ever married, he would have to be a minister and later understood God had called me to minister the gospel. Someone suggested I needed a husband and I had assumed God was my husband. I asked God if he wanted me to have a husband, thinking I would lose my time with God if I got married. Within 2 days a man called me and he was a minister of the gospel. It took a while for me to come to this understanding, but God sent himself to me in a man. Within 6 months we were married, God has been faithful and although I could not imagine how I would ever come out of devastation, God made a way. Isaiah 61 says "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me: because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. 7) For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion; therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them. 8) The Lord loves judgment... This scripture is being walked out in my life today. My husband and I minister to people all the time that have come to a place of being hopeless. I see their sadness and lack of confidence in their future. My spirit cries out to tell them what God can do with a willing vessel. I am writing a book with details of all I can remember He has done and is still doing in my life. My boot camp experience was where God allowed me a time to prove myself to him. God has always been faithful, but we become equitable to him. We actually witness a new creation in ourselves as our integrity and our character change. Although we might have endured harsh or unfair slander, we become the true and righteous image of God in the earth, qualifying ourselves to judge a matter. I have gone through the wind of a tornado, the lightning coming from the east to the west, (WHAT). I have endured the hail stones, and I actually experienced an earthquake. I read the bible in a year, and never really saw what it said about any of this until it actually happened to me. Some may say these are spiritual experiences, however I saw them happen to me and understand God was in all of them bringing about His plan in my life. He is a miraculous God, and miracles are happening all around us. I trust God with everything, because He has proved himself over and over. I knew He was trustworthy before He changed my life, simply because the word said He was. However, what I have seen is impossible unless it was GOD! If you are reading this and your life is in a DEVASTATING PLACE, know beyond the shadow of doubt, God is able to bring about the miraculous. Never give up, and know he never leaves you.
