We were at the pet store and there was this rose breasted cockatoo that had this really pretty pink chest & head. It kept climbing on to me and it was really sweet. Then one of the guys that worked there said it was the sweetest bird in the whole store. I told Jimmy we should buy it because it was pink and it reminded me of Niki. It sounds crazy, but it did for some reason. With it being pink(her favorite color) and the sweetest bird and all. I don't even care for birds so much, but this one just kept climbing on me even after I would put it down. Jimmy said no, it was 2,000 dollars and it was too expensive. What was wierd was we did have money because Marla had given us 2,000 dollars she had recieved from Niki's estate because she said Niki would have wanted us to have what was in her savings account. That made 2,000 significant in my mind. Then as we left I bought something for the dogs, and the cashiers name was Niki. Even spelled like her name: Niki! Spelling it like that is rare. So anyways, I thought it must have been her saying Hi! If not, it was nice to think so! Love you Niki!

Wow Toni...what an amazing story. It sounds like it was Niki giving you a message of love through that beautiful bird. We are one with all and do not quite realize it yet but I'm sure Niki understands this..it is how she could come through to you through the bird. Signs like these are all around us..sometimes we just need to stop..think..and observe our surroundings. What are we missing every day? love to all, snowman
