To whom it may concern: Addictions are all alike..they start somewhere. You have to find the origin..the starting point. The door for a drug addict is usually that first beer. It becomes a rollercoaster ride from there. The best thing to do is to never start!! Has he ever made a start for God?? That is the first step. St. John 3:30 says: "He must INCREASE..but I must decrease. When he finds out WHO he is IN God..he will realize that he IS NOT addicted to these things! An addict must FEED his or her addiction for it to keep living. Go the other way..do something else..say no to the flesh!! You start with impositions..until the reformation shows up.
If he has a lustful eye..the first thing he should probably do is cut out tv. You would be surprised what dies in a person just by cutting out television!! At the present time I am not watching it for now, and have gone for years without one in my home in the 80's. The CALL of God on my life is too great to mess with such silly things. You have to guard yourself if you want to be annointed of God!! Trust me if you give yourself to God it far exceeds anything the world has to offer!!! My grandfather..an assembly of God Pastor always said: It's ok to look that first time for that cannot be helped sometimes... BUT that second LOOK gets you in trouble. In other words DON'T FEED IT!!! If you have a tiger thats bringing terror to all the natives..quit feeding it..and it will eventually DIE!!! Most addicts I have talked to over the years want to quit..but they do not feel they have the power to. The spirit of the addiction is usually bigger than them and all they try to love..which would be their wifes or husbands and their family. REMEMBER..it's a SPIRIT. IT HAS TO BE CAST OUT OF THE INDIVIDUALS LIFE. I tell people that battle things: I see you high and lifted up and his train fills your temple. This is an encouraging word to someone that has been beat down constantly and judged harshly. Remember you HAVE TO BE SPIRITUAL to deal with these principalities!! They were not built in a day..it took thousands of years of people thinking the WRONG WAY to create these impes!! We do have the power to free these people. You have to be free yourself to free others!! Remember where spirits started..in wrong mindsets. So that is where they need to STOP..where they started. That is why Jesus dealt with thoughts instead of the very deeds!! He said if you hate your brother: your a MURDERER!!! If you create adultery in your mind you have already done it!! That is because everything is spirit first before it becomes flesh!! Remember the mark..666 is on the HEAD(thoughts)and HAND(that..that you work with). He just has an identity crisis. He does not know who he is. Will he talk to me???? I can help him. I will drive that spirit out. I'm waiting...
