I have found 4 scriptures that refer to an untimely birth
BUT I cannot find anything on an 'untimely' death.

Does anyone know of any?

Someone sent me an email stating that the bible talks about untimely death....Is this true?

Thanks,
Bev

Hey Bev, I was looking up untimely deaths according to the bible, and I read this little short paragraph about Job 33. But please be advised, this was a site that was still in second day and believes in Hell as being the lake of fire.
God also sometimes sends people dreams or visions to keep people from perishing by the sword or from an early or untimely or violent death in general. The scripture reference from Job 33 of characteristics of godly dreams or visions sent to people (either saved or unsaved) by God is the following:

Scripture Reference from Job 33 of Characteristics of Godly Dreams or Visions Sent by God
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. Job 33:14-18

Bev,
I am unsure on this topic but I will share this thought with you. First I do not believe God lives in the realm we call time, therefore nothing could be timely or untimely with God as He inhabits eternity. To me then, timely or untimely would be phrases that are only relevant to us involved in humanity at this time. Certainly when we look at the deaths of loved ones such as you have just suffered and as Marla suffered a couple years ago, I could agree completely with the phrase an untimely death when solely looking at them from a natural viewpoint. Of course none of us look at the passing of someone 80 years or older and even refer to that in anyway as untimely. Once again that is solely our looking from a natural standpoint also. Recently in my preaching I have been sharing about the "race consciousness" which we all have fallen prey to and that, in my opinion, God is delivering us from. Let me briefly explain the phrase "race consciousness" as I mean it to be. This is not in any way referring to race as "black, white, hispanic, etc,,, It is speaking of the consciousness of the human race. Examples of which are as follows: When you get 40 you will require glasses; As you age you get weaker; and many more but I hope these give you the vein of thought which I am speaking from. This is not true even Biblically speaking. MOses was 120 and his eyesight was not dim, and his natural force not abated. Much more thoughts on these, but I hope I have helped in some way. If not, may you be blessed in your search for truth in this matter. In Christ, Ken Hill

Hey Ken,
Its so nice to see you back on. I hope your life has settled somewhat from your change in jobs and all, so that you will be back on more often. We have missed you here!

Ken,
Hey thanks for that nugget. I get what you are saying. WE have been so programmed to disbelieve.

I too agree that God does not exist in 'time' conciousness.
Nor do I believe in an 'untimely' death. I fully see that we were 'predestinated' and all our days were numbered before we arrived in this dimension.

Someone forwarded me this email regarding untimely death and I couldn't find it in scripture and really never heard anyone teach it. So I will take it for what it is....SPAM to be canned.

And really thrilled to see you back.
Angels,
Bev
