Could you please explain basically what it means to be "3rd Day"? Is there a mother ship?

On the third day He will raise us up. Hosea 6:2
So what does a "Third Day Church" mean? The term comes from being in the third millennium, (we are in the third day from Jesus's birth. (1 day being as a thousand years) 4 days from Adam, 7 days total which is the Sabbath Rest)

Whats does it mean to be a Third Day Christian? In Luke 4:43 the message of Jesus was the "Kingdom of God". He declared 'I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose'" The Kingdom of God is today, right now. Your purpose is to cause others, to inherit the Kingdom of God. We are a church of today. In this day we are prophets, priests, and kings. This priesthood causes us to go from old thinking to new thinking! It means leaving behind everything that we have previously known. All that which we have seen and experienced is put behind us.

We are the forerunner of a new order. Like David and his mighty men at Ziklag, Third Day Christians are ushering in a new church era. It's out with the Saul order and in with the Davidic order. Jesus freaks, who are, according to Hosea 6:2 "revived, raised up, and living in Gods sight". We've gone from the baby (1st day), to the bride (2nd day), and finally to the mature wife (3rd day). We are co-regents with Jesus Christ. No longer are we content with "taking off" (ie: getting our salvation, then sitting on our collective butts waiting for the rapture), rather we are "taking over." We have ascended to the Mercy Seat. This very day we are occupying what is ours. We are taking hold and possessing our inheritance.

Its future view to the present. Two wills to one. From the law of the prophets to the Prophetic. Mount Sinai to Mt Zion. Taking tithes to receiving tithes and mans control to God’s will. We have ascended to the Mercy Seat. This very day we are occupying what is ours. We are taking hold and possessing our inheritance.

The third day saints are the next wave of ministry. Ministers of the Melchezedec priesthood. Its a priesthood brings forth:

a ministry of a Prophet, Priest and King.
a ministry that springs forth from Judah.
a ministry that is unlimited.
a ministry that is eternal.
a ministry that is immutable or unchangeable.
a ministry that is energized by the source of an eternal life.
a ministry that is universal flowing unto all men.
a ministry that brings perfection.
and a ministry that puts away the curse of the law (sin, sickness, poverty and death)
It is a ministry without condemnation, prejudice, walls, retaliation, profanity and idolatry. It doesn't stop at salvation and then waiting for the sky to crack open and Jesus to take you up to heaven. (if that is where your faith is at, then your cutting yourself short) Its not about praying for good health, because you are a HEALER, its not about praying for debt relief, because you are a FINANCIER, its not about praying for a job, because you are a EMPLOYER.. Move over Moses because the Joshua & Caleb generation (Third Day saints) are occupying the land this very day.

The third day is the Day of Atonement. The Lord is cleansing us for the day he will bring His Church into a great balance. This day is a day of resurrection, divine completeness and perfection for not only the Church, but also the saints. You cannot run and you cannot hide from this.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.....Ephesians 6:13
"to stand.." lets say it again... "to stand" We've dug into the earth, we have fortified ourselves with the Word. There is no retreat, no giving up. You either succumb to the giants or you push them aside.

The Tabernacle of Moses provides a great example of the Third Day. We in the third day pay close attention to the Tabernacle of Moses. In the Most Holy of Holies is where we live. We are in the Mercy Seat.

(First dimension) First to enter the outer courts of the tabernacle with praise and delighting ourselves in God; (2 Chronicles. 5:13) In the outer court Jesus is the Way to God
(Second dimension)Then to the inner court of the tabernacle where joy and praise can abound. In the inner court or Holy Place Jesus is the Truth of God
(Third dimension). Moving into the most Holy Place of the tabernacle where we are in the Presence of God. In the Most Holy of Holies Jesus is the Life of God

A simplified way to visualize what being Third Day is:

3rd Day Tabernacles Holy Spirit Wife Shepherd Life of God

Another way to help understand the third day message is this table. The table below shows our relationship as we grow, in Christ from the Outer Court into the Most Holy of Places or the Third Day dimension. This table was part of a 3 part series taught by Doctor Paulette Higham of New Beginnings Bible Centre on the Third Day back in 2002. It is designed to show you graphically the process of maturing into a third day Christian.

God isn't coming "down" to us, He is going to come "out" of us. And it is time we mature and walk in His purpose for us. Today..., this very day, is the day we are in the full Sovereignty of God. It is time for us to stop crawling in sin and start climbing and walking onto glory, We are to be revived, raised up and made to live in God's sight!

There were those that wanted to lynch her on the spot.
But with this message comes the grace and power of our
Father.

It sure got my undivided attention that morning.
What was so beautiful about the whole thing was that this sister preached without any conviction which kept all the Scribes and Pharisee's at bay within that local body.

Needless to say the fellowship split to some degree and
the truth of the Lord prevailed.

That's what was so great when you and I met,I was a willing vessel that was ready to receive.

Right there in the windy city..wow love those memories!!

I loved staying with Pastors' Ray and Alice and their boxer dog.
I too remember praying in Alice's back yard one time I was there. She got mad for I walked all of their grass down to the dirt in the form of a lightbulb!!! ha!

Then she laughed about it later! Oh those good times.

One of the first times we were there Ray asked if I wanted any popcorn as he sat there at the kitchen table eating it. He happened to lean forward as he was asking, on those roller chairs and as he lost his balance the popcorn sprayed all over the kitchen floor. I never laughed so hard as Alice came in scowling at him... as she swept it up. It was almost as if she was thinking... I knew I should not of let you come out of your room..you have shamed us all.

I too glean from you my dear brother. You are a blessing to the body of Christ..very valuable indeed!!!

As for when you and I first met, if my memory serves me right I believe we met at a conference in Ohio / Columbus.
It was at the House of Prayer in 1990 / 1991?
Yes I think you started teaching / ministering in 1991 at the Trees of Life.

I also believe that the top song for that year was
I hear dancing behind the Vail.

Yes those were some good memories. I have lost contact with the Pastors Ray & Alice and think of them often.
They did have a great impact on my life and for that I'm truly grateful.
