If there is no hell, then logically there can be no heaven, right. So, what happens when humans die.

IMO

First I would say both heaven and hell represent relationships with God

Being in heaven was like Adam was in the Garden before getting the boot....... it is being in righteous relationship with God

On the other hand hell is a place where "their worm dieth not"....... if something stays in the worm stage (caterpillar) it is not maturing.......... as a place outside of Jerusalem it was the dump where all the man made garbage was continually burning....... as long as the garbage remains the fire continues.

Hi John

Peace to you

No matter what there are those whom get their inheritance on this side of the river

But first they cross that river of death but are then though faith are resurrected in Christ

After all God is the God of the living

Peace and Blessings

I think that it is very shallow to think that when Jesus talked of Heaven and Hell that He was speaking metaphorically. Sure, Gehenna was a place on the outside of town where they burned their trash but when God spoke this was the metaphore, not Hell. If you use the word of God as the measuring rod, you can't just make up whatever sounds good and make it applicable without verifying it with scripture. Matthew 10:28, the Savior is speaking and He says, " And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Here Jesus speaks of a real place; He's not speaking with scare tactics to get people to follow Him. He intends through His word to show us that He loves us so much that eventhough evil has entered this world through Adam and Eve, through His sacrifice we can inherit a place he has prepared for us. But if we do not accept His invitation there are eternal consequences. This is a God of Love, Judgement, and Justice.

So you are suggesting that God is not a keeper of His Word? That He changes His Laws that restores the loss to the victim and taught righteousness to the offender that never ever prescribed torture, does exist in the hell you speak of?

No my friend God is a God of both love and judgement but His judgments are for our betterment and to perfect and make perfect that what He proclaimed in the beginning........ To make man in both His Image and in His Likeness

As David said whether he went heaven (righteousness and reward for it) or to hell (unrighteousness and the reward for it) God was there accomplishing what He said He would do.

God will bring all of mankind to both repentance and to salvation....... one by one and every man in his own order.

One unfortunate thing about those who believe in and teach eternal torment...... they are the same ones who do not forgive others for their sins against them and eternally condemn them for what they have done......consequently they are judged just as they have judged others..........

No my friend.... I would suggest you do not pass judgment on God by thinking He cannot do as He has intended to do from the beginning....... however each to their own.

Blessings

Reader and questioneer..I would encourage you to look up every place in the old testament that speaks of hell. Then tell me why hell is called a "her." Her guests are in hell. Her house leads to hell. Hell hath enlarged HERSELF.

It is a mystery to the carnal mind but once that mind is born of spirit..it's easy to understand.

Also tell me WHY in Rev. that death, and HELL are cast into "THE LAKE OF FIRE"... then TELL ME... what is the lake of fire. Is the lake of fire... and hell... the same?????

If you ever figure out what death is..you have halfway solved the puzzle. I percieve you are a letter on the page type..which will only confuse you, and others.

Here is a clue for you about death.
Romans 8:6

Another clue...how old was Abraham when Ismael was born?
Was Ismael the sand seed, or the star seed?

What does "Elohim" add up to in the beginning through the understanding of Gematria?
Darkness had surrounded this plural Elohim.

The problem with "eternal torment" is you can never come to this conclusion if you just STAY with the language of the book. You have to use the whole bible and not just a few... what you call judgemental scriptures.

If you understand the character of God he always makes right that that was wrong. You are misunderstanding what judgement is for. God punishes ONLY to bring change...just like any "sane" parent would do. To think otherwise makes him a sadistic monster!!!

You might want to do a study on the "root" of the word eternal. You will find an interesting gem there.

There is hell...it is all around us. Sorry it is not forever...it's only until you come to the knowledge of WHO YOU ARE... is when you leave that dimension!!!

In Luke 16 notice the "rich"????? man was in hell. Where was he??? Why was father Abe bearhugging Lazy-r-us?????

WHAT was this FLAME that he was tormented in??? Did he himself create this flame??? Why was he wearing purple, and fine linen??? Is this your first clue who this fellow really is... or does he represent a whole nation????????

It sounds like you have a few years of studying to do my friend.

love always, the snowman
