I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we ,or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.Galatians 1-6-8 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion. how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace; to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Gal.1 continued 13-16Today I quote these scriptures with the understanding that our personal experience in Christ is a progressive process that is eternal. No matter what you are doing in the moment, I will say that it is part of your process. Although you may have no interest in God, and Spiritual communication, at this time in your life. I am cognizant that in time, God will bring you to himself. Paul was the writer of the book of Galatians, and his transformation from religion to relationship was a miraculous change. I say this because I want to point out that he was only a man, just as we are. I recall times in my life when I did not want to hear anything about God. The gospel I had been taught all of my life, was perverted. Those who called it good news meant it was good news for them. They were satisfied that all of the people who did not believe just as they did, would someday be punished eternally. God loves his creation, more then we love our own children, and it is his intention to give them their best life. The scripture I quoted is a true process of creation working out their salvation. Think for yourself today, and let go of some of the teachings that hold you back. Think about being a loving parent, and judging your own children. Ask yourself how would you judge them? I am sure that what ever they might have done in their lives that you might consider to be wrong choices, your judgment will be fair. You would never punish them forever and ever, after all, punishment is to bring about a right result. Know that God is in your corner, and he is not mad at you, and never has been. Add a prayer to your schedule, or maybe a conversation to Jesus, who longs to have relationship with you. Don't put pressure on yourself, thinking you are not good enough. No one is righteous in themselves, Jesus made all of us righteous, and it was never anything we did. Try not to be consumed by guilt, or worthlessness, or a past that others have held you responsible for. God promised beauty for ashes, and double for our shame. Know that God approves of you and you are the apple of his eye. You are probably busy today, as always, but wherever you are, and whatever you are doing, God is with you. It pleased God, who separated us from our mother's womb, and called us by His grace, to reveal His Son In Us. Have a blessed day, Gayle
